Corona Virus Update

In response to the respiratory virus officially known as COVID-19, Fairfax County school system suspended all outside use of their buildings until April 12th, which means that every church meeting in schools will not be meeting as a large group. Although this decision does not directly impact us being in the theater, Centerpointe Church is taking the proactive step to cancel our services at the theater until further notice. We will evaluate this on a week-by-week basis. We love and care for our church family and our community, and we want to be part of the solution and not the problem.

Instead of coming together for a service, we will be live streaming our services on Facebook at 11 AM as well as our Brazilian service at 3 PM. We invite you and your family to join us online for this special service.

We will have a time of worship and prayer, along with a message from me. This is a time where Christians can demonstrate trust in God and care for the people around us. Pastor Brandon will be sharing something for the kids and including a link to engage in an activity. This is also an opportunity to invite your friends and family around the world to check out Centerpointe online.

In addition, this may be a good opportunity for you to try out the RightNow Media resource Centerpointe Church provides. It has thousands of Christian videos for adults and kids, including great Bible studies to follow.

If you have not yet set up online giving, now is the time. Your giving is important in allowing us to continue uninterrupted ministry. Not only will we continue the ministry of Centerpointe, we will also continue to financially support our missionaries. Go here to give online.

May the Lord give us grace and wisdom in this moment.
