CENTERPOINTE’S HISTORY
Formally 4104 LEGATO ROAD
HONORING THE PAST
In 1960 a small group of people felt called by God to plant a new church in the growing city of Fairfax. Fairfax Assembly of God began meeting at the Huddleson Memorial Library and two years later (1962) moved to the Potomac District headquarters. After much growth, the church moved to 4104 Legato Rd. in 1969. This building housed many years of productive ministry with many lives changed, discipled, and missions furthered for the glory of God. We are grateful for the rich history, but determined to obediently move forward to relocate and dream new dreams, relentlessly pursuing the vision to reach and disciple more people for Christ in this growing Northern Virginia area and around the world. We are currently meeting at the Cinemark Theatre in Fairfax Corner and are looking forward to all that God will do in and through us as a church family.
