Pastors Keith & Esther Edwards

Lead Pastors

Pastor Keith became the lead pastor of Centerpointe Church on March 20, 2011. He and his wife, Esther, were married in 1988 and have four daughters: Stephanie, Brittany, Kristi, and Melanie, along with three fabulous sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. Keith has served in youth, music, associate, and senior pastoral positions through the years; he also served as a church-planting and leadership development director for the Assemblies of God Potomac Ministry Network. His mantra is to love God, love people, and enjoy the journey God has called you to.

Keith holds a Doctorate of Ministry from Regent University, a Masters Degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Valley Forge. Keith also serves as a coach and consultant to other ministry leaders and churches.

Esther has a Master's Degree in Church Leadership from Regent University and a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Valley Forge. Esther serves as the Connection and Care Pastor as well as a Certified Life and Leadership Coach and loves to see others transform into all that God has called them to be.

PASTORS ERIVAN AND VANIA MARQUES

Brazilian Church Pastors

Pastor Erivan Marques, along with his wife, Pastor Vania, lead our Brazilian congregation, New Life in Christ Ministry, which they founded in 2008.  Together they have 3 daughters: Jessica, Victoria, and Jennifer.

Previously, Pastor Erivan served as the Young Adults Pastor of Nova Assembleia de Deus no Brasil, (New Assembly of God in Brazil) and later became the Co-Pastor of that same church. He came to the USA in June 1999; as part of the Assemblies of God Brazilian District, he was ordained by the Assemblies of God in Springfield, MO. From 1999 to March of 2008, he served as a co-pastor of a Brazilian Assembly of God church. He arrived at Centerpointe Church in September of 2008 where he founded New Life in Christ Ministry, which is today the Brazilian congregation of Centerpointe Church. Pastors Erivan and Vania worked and served with Brazilians, Hispanics, and many others who need spiritual help in this nation. Pastor Erivan is an alumni of the Bible Institute of the Assemblies of God in Rio de Janeiro and a member of the Brazilian District Council of the Assemblies of God.

Jennifer Marques

Interim Children’s Director

For those who do not know me, my name is Jennifer Marques, and I am excited about joining the CP staff team as the interim Children’s Ministry Director. Currently, I am pursuing the completion of my degree in elementary education at George Mason University. It is a privilege to impact young lives, nurture their faith, and create a safe and engaging environment where they can grow in their relationship with God. I strive to be a positive role model, share biblical teachings, and inspire children to develop a strong foundation for their future.

RYAN ASHLEY NOBLES

Office Manager

Ryan Ashley Nobles joined the Centerpointe Church staff as the Office Manager in March 2022.

Ryan has previously served on a variety worship teams and as small group leader. Ryan has a Master’s Degree in Cello Performance from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Mary Washington. In addition to serving as Office Manager at Centerpointe Church, Ryan is a cellist and enjoys performing with the Amaris Trio, working as a freelance performer in the DC-VA-MD area, and teaching.

Steve dasilva

Worship Director

Steve has been working in music ministry for over the past 25 years performing for various churches, worship bands, singer / song writers and youth ministries. As a trilingual worshiper, Steve has been able to reach different people from diverse backgrounds in the D.M.V area with his talents. After a tragic experience in 2015, Steve decided to stop touring and affiliating with secular artists and bands in the region and to commit fully to helping the body of Christ in the music space. Steve is proficient at playing the piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass. His musical knowledge spans various genres such as CCM, gospel, Latin fusion, pop, rock, blues, and classical. Steve and his wife Rosi joined the Centerpointe Church family in 2022.
