Pastor Gary Hanson – Senior Pastor

Pastor Gary Hanson was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Raised in a Presbyterian Church, Pastor Gary gave his heart to the Lord while a teenager. "I came to the realization that being a church member wasn't enough. It had to be about the Lord and it wasn't so I accepted Christ and became a disciple. That journey still goes on today."
He is a graduate of Central Bible College where he met his wife, Carol and together they have two children, Randi and Ryan. Randi is serving at Centerpointe Church as the interim music pastor. Ryan is currently serving as a youth pastor in Apopka, Florida.
With a heart for the Lord and a heart for people, Pastor Gary is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and along with Carol has served for 29 years as an Assemblies of God pastor. Carol has served side by side with Pastor Gary. A gifted speaker with a heart for women, Carol has served in Women's Ministries on a local level, sectional and district level.

Pastor John Carter – Youth/Children Pastor

Pastor John Carter arrived at Centerpointe Church in August of 2009. He and his wife, Karri, have four children. John is a 2007 alumni of Central Bible College. His passion and calling is rooted in his desire to see families serve the Lord together as a cohesive and Christ-centered unit.

I am one of 16 children. I wake up every day and thank God that I "get" to serve in fulltime ministry. I hurt when I see hurting people. |

Karri and I have been married since 1992. We have four of the most amazing kids on earth. Our house is filled with nonstop laughter! |

Florida and anywhere we can play in the water. |

| Philosophy of ministry? |
I believe that mankind continually cries out for relationship. Karri and I are called to reach and build families for the glory of God. As we continue to love people, the Kingdom of God will grow one relationship at a time. |

L.A. Lakers, Chicago Bears, and yes... Go Cubs! |
| Favorites hobbies? |
Spending time with Karri and the kids, Competition Barbeque, Fishing, Camping, and making people laugh. |

When Karri and I were newlyweds, I decided to ride a shopping cart across a parking lot toward our car. The cart flipped and I landed flat on my face in front of many humored spectators. |

Fried chicken and anything Mexican. |

Anything with curry... I love the heat, but hate the flavor and the smell. |

| Why Centerpointe Church? |
God made it clear to our family that we are called to minister here. Since arriving in August of 2009, the Lord continues to confirm this calling every day. |
