Dr. Keith G. Edwards | Lead Pastor 

Dr. Keith G. Edwards

Pastor Keith became the lead pastor of Centerpointe Church on March 20, 2011. He and his wife, Esther, were married in 1988 and have four daughters: Stephanie, Brittany, Kristi, and Melanie. He has served as a youth pastor, music pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor. He also served as a church-planting director for the Assemblies of God. His most recent ministry was at Trinity Assembly of God in Lutherville, Maryland, where he served as the Pastor of Discipleship/Ministries/Missions.

Keith has a Bachelors Degree from Valley Forge Christian College, a Masters Degree from the Assemblies of God Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Regent in 2006. Keith also coaches and consults with other pastors and churches.

What verse or story in the Bible has impacted your life the most? The verse that has impacted my life the most is Romans, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 NAS95). I am reminded every day that we have not… cannot… and will never be able to earn our salvation.

Pastor John Carter arrived at Centerpointe Church in August of 2009. He and his wife, Karri, have four children. John is a 2007 alumni of Central Bible College. His passion and calling is to see families serve the Lord together, grow together, and reach out together. He ministers through a three-fold philosophy of ministry: "Love God, Love People, Work Hard."

Pastor Paul Cohen | Worship & Fine Arts Pastor

Pastor Paul Cohen has been serving as Worship Leader for many weeks leading to his new role as Worship & Fine Arts Pastor at Centerpointe. Paul studied piano, trumpet, and music theory through the Eastman School of Music's Community Education Division (Rochester, NY) before attending Messiah College (Grantham, PA) to study music business and piano. While at Messiah, he actively participated in chapels and music ministry teams,gaining experiences and friendships that focused his passions from music business to music and the church. Since college, he has helped out various church worship teams and served as a director of Total Praise, the choir of Frontline, McLean Bible Church's young adult ministry.

Paul and Melissa both graduated from Messiah College in 2009 and married in August 2010. Paul was first introduced to Centerpointe by Melissa, who has been attending since she was two years old. An active participant in the church Fine Arts ministry, Melissa was involved with the youth band and musical productions. Paul and Melissa made Centerpointe their church home together in September 2010.

Paul served as the Director of Operations at the Fairfax Choral Society before joining Centerpointe. Melissa is a Marketing Coordinator at Time Warner Cable. They enjoy reading, eating, being in nature, and spending time in community with others.
