WelcomeWelcome to Centerpointe Church! We appreciate your visit and desire to learn more about our church. Centerpointe is a vibrant, Bible believing church that longs to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. Our church strongly strives to live out godly Christian fellowship, and our desire is for those who are new to the church to feel just as welcomed as those who have been attending for years! So, before you attend you may have some questions about our church. If you are also just looking for some quick answer, please visit our frequently asked questions section. What to Expect at Our Church ServicesVisitors in our church are honored guests. We won't ask you to do anything crazy, except to relax and feel welcomed. We want you to be comfortable when you visit our Church, so don't worry about what to wear, just come ready to make some friends. Our worship music is contemporary, and pretty upbeat but we aren't afraid to sing some hymns and enjoy the deeper meaning of some older music. During the service we will have a message from one of our pastors, and we also take up an offering. The offering is only intended for regular attenders and church members, so please don't feel pressured to give. On Sunday mornings we have childcare for newborns up to preschool aged children, and Kidz Pointe (a children's service) for kids in grades K-6. Pastor John Carter works with our youth, and does an amazing job bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to our children on a weekly basis. With teaching styles that are more in tune with a child's spirit, our children's services are a great place for your child to learn more about Jesus. On Wednesday nights, instead of a standard church service, we have a corporate bible study, run by our senior pastor, Gary Hanson. It is a good time for digging into the word, and fellowshipping in a more intimate environment. There are many things for families to do on Wednesday nights. For young boys, we offer Royal Rangers, which is a Christian ministry that focuses on teaching and reaching boys through the world around us. Think of it as boy scouts for Jesus. We also have Missionettes which is our ministry for young girls helping to teach them valuable life lessons, and instructing them in godly wisdom. We also have our youth ministry, Vertical Youth, that meets every Wednesday night under the guidance of Pastor John Carter. It is a great opportunity for your teen to fellowship with other teens, and to learn and grow. About Our CommunityOur church is not merely just about what we do on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. We do a lot with our church body on a weekly basis, and we also reach outside of our church to serve and minister to the community around us. We truly believe in Christ's teaching of reaching the world, and living out Christian fellowship. We have weekly bible studies, small groups, many opportunities to serve, and a whole slew of activities to participate in. Our church calendar has an up to date list of what is going on, on a weekly basis, and our Ministries page has a list of most (if not all) the ministry opportunities that we have at our church. |
