Background

In Galatians 5:19-21, the Apostle Paul talked about the lusts of the flesh and the battle that we are in to conquer that. In verses 22-23, Paul contrasts those with the fruit of the Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit in every believer's life produces fruit. Works are recompensed by a reward that comes when the work is done.

However, the fruit of the Spirit is a process of growth in a Christian's life. Because fruit is the product of a seed, often it takes a while for the fruit to grow. Throughout history, man has been sowing seeds that have produced sin and death. But this series, "Juicy Fruit", teaches us that the Spirit of God has been sowing spiritual seed which produces fruit. That sowing and reaping goes to the end of time. We grow daily as the Spirit works in us. You are invited to come and learn.
