Communities

Banner

Community is a vital part of our existence. At Centerpointe our communities are about loving God and loving others. We have many different communities, some for serving, some for fellowship, and others for sharing love with the world. No matter where you are in life, we have a community that will enable you to get plugged in and feel connected.

Angel Food Snapshot

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 44 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Boat People Snapshot

The Boat People is a group of young adults, 20 to 30 somethings, who are all about creating a Godly community. A community where we can do life together, and to support and love one another.

Hope Fair / Eggstravaganza Snapshot

The Hope Fair / Eggstravaganza is a yearly event that our church hosts to share the love of Christ with our community. It happens the Saturday before Easter and is focused on drawing people to our church. There are games and prizes for the children, and community services for adults and children alike. It is a great time to get to know our community and a great time to make more friends.

Kidz Pointe Snapshot

Our goal is to let children experience God in a way that is relevant and meaningful to them. The Sunday morning services are full of energy, skits, singing and clear messages of God's word. We work hard to help give these children every opportunity to know God more, and to grow into the Christians that God has called them to be.

Men's Ministry Snapshot

“Deep in his heart, every man wants to be a part of a team that does something great. Just look at the movies men adore. A team comes together to save the world, steal the money, or win the championship. The Lord of the Rings, X-Men, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Oceans Eleven, Remember The Titans… feature a band of brothers who attempt the dangerous, the outrageous, the impossible. Each member of the team has a specialty and makes a vital contribution. A band of brothers. Though he may not realize it, every man longs to be a part of one” (Why Men Hate Church, D. Murrow).

Missionettes Snapshot

Missionettes is a ministry for girls and young women to enable them to become all that God has planned for them to be.  The focus of the ministry is to see every girl moving towards a deep relationship with Jesus Christ.  Missionettes also exists to empower girls to realize their importance and potential in God's kingdom.  It also has the focus of building life long relationships and friendships between girls and leaders through mentoring and discipleship.

Prime Timers Snapshot

At Prime Timers we believe the senior years provide great potential growth. Surveys have indicated that, among the general adult population, the older a person gets the more important religion becomes to their life. Getting seniors together on a regular basis is a great way to explore the depth of spirituality that can only be had with life experience.

Royal Rangers Snapshot

Today's boy is tomorrow's man. The best time to train a man is while he's still a boy. By mobilizing, inspiring, and resourcing mentors, Royal Rangers offers character and servant leadership education to boys and young men (K-12) in a highly relational, fun, and interactive environment. It is our vision to influence more, more effectively! Today, thanks to the innovation and devotion of our mentors to influencing boys and young men, Royal Rangers' influence continues to expand, shaping future generations one boy at a time.

Vertical Youth Snapshot

Vertical Youth meets every Wednesday evening at 7:00 in the lower level. Students, grades 7-12, are guaranteed a warm welcome, an atmosphere of fun, and a life changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Every Sunday morning at 9:00, grades 7-12 meet on the third floor as they learn and discuss biblical perspectives of real life questions. Throughout the year, our students come together for numerous activities and events such as Fine Arts Festival, Retreats, Summer Camp, and many other relationship building and thought provoking times of fellowship, fun, and outreach.

Women's Ministry Snapshot

Women’s Ministries is an opportunity for the local church to touch the lives of women by the power of Jesus Christ through outreach, Ministry Groups, and discipleship. Through this exciting ministry, Christian women are touching the world in varied and creative ways. They are reaching beyond personal interests and comfort zones to embrace women of all ages, races, professions, and social standings. They are building an environment for women to mentor women—a place where women can learn, practice biblical love, and feel God’s love in a very real way.
