Dr. Keith G. Edwards

Lead Pastor

Pastor Keith became the lead pastor of Centerpointe Church on March 20, 2011. He and his wife, Esther, were married in 1988 and have four daughters: Stephanie, Brittany, Kristi, and Melanie. Keith has served as youth, music, associate, and senior pastor; he also served as a church-planting director for the Assemblies of God Potomac District. 

Keith holds a Doctorate of Ministry from Regent University, a Masters Degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Valley Forge. Keith also serves as coach and consultant to other pastors and churches. 
Esther serves as Connect Pointe Director and Women’s Ministry Coordinator.

David Baltes

Discipleship Pastor

Dr. David Baltes serves as our Pastor of Discipleship. This involves leading our Follow discipleship pathway and coordinating Life Groups (small groups).

David is a graduate of Valley Forge Christian College, Westminster Theological Seminary, and Biblical Seminary.  Pastor David came to Centerpointe Church with over 25 years of ministry experience. He has served as a Student Ministry Pastor, Christian School Administrator, and Adult Ministries Pastor. David and his wife, Treva, have traveled together singing and speaking in a variety of ministry contexts. In November of 2010, they completed their international adoption journey and welcomed Eva Monet Jiawan into their family.

Brandon Horst

Children's Pastor

Pastor Brandon and Hannah, along with their children, Emery and Tristan, serve as our Kids and Family Pastors.

After graduating from Central Bible College, Brandon and Hannah married and set off for a year-long adventure teaching English in South Korea. Upon their return, they became licensed with the Assemblies of God and began serving at CP, where they are passionate about partnering with and discipling families.

Erivan Marques

Brazilian Church Pastor

Pastor Erivan Marques leads our Brazilian congregation, New Life in Christ Ministry, which he founded in 2008.  He and his wife Vania have 3 daughters: Jessica, Victoria, and Jennifer.

Previously, Pastor Erivan served as the Young Adults Pastor of Nova Assembleia de Deus no Brasil, (New Assembly of God in Brazil) and later became the Co-Pastor of that same church. He came to the USA in June 1999; as part of the Assemblies of God Brazilian District, he was ordained by the Assemblies of God in Springfield, MO. From 1999 to March of 2008, he served as a co-pastor of a Brazilian Assembly of God church. He arrived at Centerpointe Church in September of 2008 where he founded New Life in Christ Ministry, which is today the Brazilian congregation of Centerpointe Church. He has worked and served with Brazilians, Hispanics, and many others who need spiritual help in this nation. Pastor Erivan is an alumni of the Bible Institute of the Assemblies of God in Rio de Janeiro and a member of the Brazilian District Council of the Assemblies of God.

Pastor Bill Marshall

Vietnamese Christian Fellowship Pastor

Pastor Bill and his Vietnamese wife Jennifer lead the Vietnamese Christian Fellowship at Centerpointe Church. They have served at five Foreign Service posts around the world. They have also conducted multiple mission trips to Asia and Africa and have a love of international and ethnic communities. Their greatest passions are ministering in Asian prisons, orphanages and house churches.

Kayla Waltemire

Office Administrator

Kayla Waltemire has been the office manager at Centerpointe since May of 2015. She and her husband, George, have been married since August of 2014, when she moved to the Northern Virginia area. Kayla grew up in Lancaster, PA, and graduated from Messiah College in 2013. She recently earned a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, PA. Kayla and her husband George enjoy exploring Northern Virginia and trying new restaurants in the area. George and Kayla also serve on the worship team.
